The Jakarta Composite Index (JCI) today (8/3) is expected to trade between 6,790ptโ6,910pt to attempt higher in support of bargain hunters.
Meanwhile, yesterdayย ย (8/2) on Wall Street, the DJIA closed lower by 348 points or 1.0% to 35,283pt, while the S&P500 and the Nasdaq closed lower by 1.4% and 2.2%, respectively.ย ย The 10-year US Treasury yield increased by 3 basis points to 4.073%.ย In contrast, the yield on theย 2-year Treasury fell 3 basis points to 4.881%.
Yesterday, the price of WTI ย futures closed lower by 2.3% to USD79.5/barrel mainly supported by sentiment from additional supplies from the US SPR. Meanwhile, the USDIDR closed at IDR15,171 vs. IDR15,117 ย the previous one.
