Morning,

The Jakarta Composite Index (JCI) today (22/1) is expected to be in the range of 6,200pt-6,280pt to trade sideways but supported by stable USDIDR and oil close.  Yesterday (21/1), Wall Street ended lower with the DJIA fell by  153 points or by 0.5% to 29,196pt, while the S&P500 and the Nasdaq also finished lower by 0.3% and 0.2% respectively.  The United States (US) market underwent profit takings after 5 straight days of gain. In addition, investors also worry on the impact of coronavirus outbreaks in China to the US certain sectors.

Yesterday, the WTI price settled at USD58.3/barrel vs. USD58.5/barrel the previous close. At the other end, USDIDR closed at IDR13,658  yesterday  vs. IDR13,654 previous close.
