The Jakarta Composite Index (JCI) today (11/11) is expected to trade between 6,975pt โ€“ 7,100pt to do a reversal supported by bargain hunters. The JCI today is expected to join the regional strong leads for softening October’s inflation data in the US.

Meanwhile, yesterday ย (11/10) Wall Street ended with the DJIA closed higher by ย 1,201 points or 3.7% to 33,715pt, while the S&P500 and the Nasdaq closed higher by 5.5% and 7.4%, respectively.

The US financial market responded to the release of the countryโ€™s October inflation data, at 7.7% YoY, lower-than-widely-estimated 8.0% YoY, and lower as compared to the previous two months of 8.2% YoY.

The 10-year US Treasury yield, meanwhile, fell by 28 basis points at 3.816% last week, and the yield on the policy-sensitiveย 2-year Treasuryย declined by 30 basis points to 4.328%.

 

 

Yesterday, the price of ย WTI crude rose by 0.8%, to USD84.7 a barrel, also on declining USD Index as the US inflation data for October turned out softening, more than expected. ย ย Meanwhile, the USDIDR ย closed atย  IDR15,701 vs. IDR15,654 ย the previous one.
