The Jakarta Composite Index (JCI) today (11/18) is expected to be in the range of 5,475pt โ 5,600pt, likely to be subdued, also following ย the rather-grim regional mood.ย The United States (US) seven-day average of daily new COVID-19 cases marked the highest on Monday ย that possibly delay economic recovery.ย Meanwhile, yesterday (11/17) the DJIA closed lower ย by ย 167 points or 0.6% to 29,783pt, while the ย S&P500 and the Nasdaq both ended higher by ย 0.5%, and 0.2%, respectively.
At the other end, yesterday ย ย the WTI price closed stable at USD41.4/barrel as compared to the previous close of USD41.3/barrel. Meanwhile, the USDIDR ย closedย at IDR14.073 ย vs. IDR14.139 the previous one.
