The Jakarta Composite Index (JCI) today (11/20) is expected to be in the range of 5,550pt โ 6,025pt, likely to consolidate and being supported by the continued expansive monetary policy following the decline of the reference rate to 3.5%.ย ย Meanwhile, yesterday (11/19) the DJIA closed higher ย by ย 45 points or 0.2% to 29,483pt, while the ย S&P500 and the Nasdaq both ended higher by ย 0.4%, and 0.9%, respectively. ย The US seven-day average of daily new COVID-19 cases kept increasing, the latest by 26% against the previous week.
At the other end, yesterday ย ย the WTI price closed stable at USD41.7/barrel as compared to the previous close of USD42.6/barrel. Meanwhile, the USDIDR ย closedย at IDR14.167 ย vs. IDR14.118 the previous one.
