ย The Jakarta Composite Index (JCI) today (11/3) is expected to trade between 6,920pt โ€“ 7,080pt to attempt higher being supported by bargain hunters.ย ย 

Meanwhile, yesterday ย (11/2) Wall Street ended with the DJIA closed lower by 505 points or 1.6% to 32,148pt, while the S&P500 and the Nasdaq closed lower by 2.5% and 3.4%, respectively.

The US central bank the Federal Reserve yesterday announced a fourth consecutive three-quarter point interest rate increase, as expected. However, the Fed seemed not to have disseminated enough clues of a potential softening monetary stance in the most immediate future, the content that traders had very much anticipated hearing.

The 10-year US Treasury yield, meanwhile, rose by 3 basis points at 4.08% yesterday, and the yield on the policy-sensitiveย 2-year Treasuryย rose by 7 ย basis points to 4.613%.

 

Yesterday, the price of ย WTI crude rose by 1.8%, to USD90.0 a barrel, mainly on supply restriction worry, also as the USย  crude oil stocks fell about 3.1mn barrels in the latest week. Meanwhile, the USDIDR ย closed atย  IDR15,652 vs. IDR15,647ย  the previous one.
