The Jakarta Composite Index (JCI) today (9/22) is expected to trade between 5,985pt – 6,150pt to ย ย try on a reversal also by support of ย bargain hunters. Meanwhile, yesterday ย (9/21) Wall Street ended with the DJIA closed lower by 51pt or 0.2% to 33,920pt, while the S&P500 and the Nasdaq ย closed lower by 0.08% and higher 0.2%, respectively.
The JCI is expected be sideways supported by the sustainably- improved profile of COVID-19 pandemic management in the country. In addition, the decision of Indonesia central bank during the Septemberโs board-of-governors meeting underlines the stability of the domestic financial systems. The bank maintains its reference rate of BI7DRR at 3.5% yesterday, unchanged since February this year, citing to boost growth as among the main considerations.
At the other end, yesterday ย the WTI price closed higher by 0.4% to ย USD70.6/barrel. Meanwhile, the USDIDR closed ย at IDR14,244 vs. IDR14,251 the previous one.
