Meanwhile, yesterday ย (9/28) Wall Street ended with the DJIA closed lower by 569pt or 1.6% to 34,300pt, while the S&P500 and the Nasdaq both ย closed lower ย by 2.0% and by 2.8%, respectively. ย Possible US government shutdown (deadline tomorrow of the end of fiscal year) and first-ever debt default (deadline October 18) have weight on the spike of the 10-year US Treasure Notes, by 6bp yesterday. Higher yield prompted market participants to prefer cash or any other safer investments.
