The Jakarta Composite Index (JCI) today (12/14) is expected to trade in the range of 7,000 – 7,150 points to attempt higher with the support of bargain hunters.
Meanwhile, yesterday (12/13) on Wall Street, the DJIA closed higher by 512 points or 1.4% to 36,578 points, while the S&P500 and the Nasdaq Composite both closed higher by 1.4%.
The Federal Open Market Committee (FOMC) kept interest rates unchanged in a range between 5.25% and 5.5%, in line with Wall Streetโs expectations.
The yield of the 10-year ย US ย Treasury Note was last down by 16 basis points to 4.048%, while the yield on theย 2-year Treasury bond was trading lower by 25 basis point to 4.485%.
Yesterday, the WTI futures contract for January was last trading higher by 0.8% at USD70.1/barrel, along with lower USD Index after the announcement of the result of the last FOMC meeting this year. Meanwhile, the USDIDR closed at IDR15,629 vs. IDR15,614 the previous one.
