The Jakarta Composite Index (JCI) today (7/11) is expected to trade between 6,670ptโ6,810pt to gain an edge in support of bargain hunters. ย The JCI is expected to be supported by Indonesiaโs consumer confidence index for June, stable at 127.1pt ( May: 128.3pt).
Meanwhile, yesterday (7/10) on Wall Street, the DJIA closed higher by 210 points or 0.6% to 33,944pt, while the S&P500 and the Nasdaq both closed higher by 0.2%. The 10-year US Treasury yield was lower by 5 basis points at 4.01%.ย The yield on theย 2-year Treasury declined by 6 basis points at 4.87%.
Yesterday, the price of WTI ย closed lower by 1.2% at USD73.0/ barrel, mainly on supply concerns along with the increasing likelihood of more US interest rate hikes. Meanwhile, the USDIDR closed at IDR15,192 vs. IDR15,136 the previous one.
