The Jakarta Composite Index (JCI) today (3/9) is expected to be in the range of 6,175pt โ 6,325pt to to fluctuate and be supported by bargain hunters. Trending higher bonds yield in the United States might have caused funds temporarily outflow from Indonesia, as was during yesterdayโs trading we note.
Meanwhile, yesterday (3/8) in Wall Street, ย ย the DJIA closed higher by 306 points or by 1.0% to 31,802pt, while S&P 500 and the Nasdaq closed lower by 0.5% and by 2.4%, respectively.
At the other end, yesterday ย the WTI price closed lower by ย 1.6% atUSD65.1/barrel ย , mainly on a consolidation retreat, following previous days of rally which were also caused by fear of supply disrupts.ย Yemenโs rebel Houti group claimed the ย attack of the Saudi Arabia oil port facilities by use of powerful drones. ย Meanwhile, the USDIDR ย closedย at IDR14,390 vs. IDR14,371 the previous one.
