Morning,

The Jakarta Composite Index (JCI) today (6/7) is expected to be in the range of 6,025pt – 6,150pt, likely gain edge also by support of bargain hunters. Today the JCI is expected to have a  daily upswing, also as yield differential with the US somehow narrowed, the effect of last week’s US job data.  Meanwhile, Friday last week  (6/4), the DJIA closed higher by  179 points or 0.5% to 34,756pt, while the S&P500 and the Nasdaq both ended higher by 0.9% and by 1.5%, respectively.

At the other end, last week   the WTI price ended higher by  1.18%  to USD69.6/barrel , mainly due to weekly data release of higher-than-expected crude inventories’ withdrawn, also as OPEC+ supply discipline is intact. Meanwhile, the USDIDR  closed  at IDR14,316 vs. IDR14,297 the previous one.
