The Jakarta Composite Index (JCI) today (2/7) is expected to trade between 6,840ptโ 6,950pt to attempt higher and supported by bargain hunters.ย ย The JCI today is expected to still be supported by the country’s latest macro data.
ย Yesterday (2/6) on Wall Street, the DJIA closed lower by 35 points or 0.1% to 33,891pt, while the S&P500 and the Nasdaq closed lower by 0.6% and 1.0%, respectively.
The 10-year United States Treasury yield yesterday increased by 12 basis points at 3.651%, and the yield on the policy-sensitiveย 2-year Treasury settled higher by 19 basis points at ย 4.485%.
Yesterday (2/6), the price of WTI closed higher by 1.0% at USD74.1/ barrel, mainly on supply concerns also as the operations at Turkeyโs oil terminal in Ceyhan haltedย after a major earthquake hit the region. The USDIDR closed atย IDR15,055 vs. IDR14,898 the previous one.
