The Jakarta Composite Index (JCI) today (5/22) is expected to trade between 6,6250ptโ6,770pt to attempt higher and be supported by bargain hunters.
Friday last week (5/19) on Wall Street, the DJIA closed lower by 109 points or 0.3% to 33,427pt, while the S&P500 and the Nasdaq closed lower by 0.1% and 0.2%, respectively.
The 10-year US Treasury closed higher by 4 basis points at 3.688%. The yield on theย 2-year Treasuryย closed higher by 2 basis points 4.291%.
Last week, the price of WTI closed lower by 25 cents, or 0.3% to USD71.7/ barrel along with the news of a possible delay on the US governmentโs debt ceiling agreement in its Parliament. Meanwhile, the USDIDR closed at IDR14,936 vs. IDR14,812 ย the previous one.
