The Jakarta Composite Index (JCI) today (6/26) is expected to trade between 6,590ptโ6,700pt to attempt higher and be supported by bargain hunters.
Meanwhile, yesterday (6/26) on Wall Street, the DJIA closed lower by 13 points or 0.0% to 33,715pt, while the S&P500 and the Nasdaq closed lower by 0.5% and 1.2%, respectively. ย Investors looked toward the next batch of US economic data: home sales, durable goods, and consumer confidence.
The 10-year US Treasury yield was lower by 2 basis points at 3.715%.ย The yield on theย 2-year Treasuryย fell by 2 basis points to 4.73%.
Yesterday, the price of WTI for August delivery closed higher by 0.5% to USD69.7/ barrel, mainly supported by a quiet settlement on an attempted military revolt in Russia. Meanwhile, the USDIDR closed at IDR15,026 vs. IDR14,998 the previous one.
