The Jakarta Composite Index (JCI) today (10/7) is expected to be in the range of 4,935pt โ 5,100pt, to fluctuate but attempt to trend higher by support of bargain hunters.ย Meanwhile, yesterday ย (10/6) the DJIA closed lower ย by ย 376 points or 1.3% to 27,773pt, while S&P500 and the Nasdaq both dipped by ย 1.4% and 1.6%, respectively.
At the other end, yesterday ย the WTI price closed higher by 3.7% ย at USD40.7/barrel as compared to the previous one, also on supply worry due to strike in Norwegian rigs. ย Meanwhile the USDIDR ย closedย at IDR14.712 ย vs. IDR14.867 the previous one.

Against the previous day, yesterday saw once again a net sell of foreign funds of IDR0.2tr to bring latest year-to-date ย net sell of IDR43.9tr (2019: net buy of IDR49.2tr, 2018: net sell IDR50.7tr). ย . Nevertheless, yesterday recorded foreign investors being a net buy on BBCA, and BMRI, counters being regarded as proxies of Indonesia economy.
Data from Indonesia exchange, current average of total trailing price-earnings-ratio multiples pointed to 11.7 times this year, while on a market capitalization- based weighted average pointed to 32.7 times this year.
