ย The Jakarta Composite Index (JCI) today (11/14) is expected to trade between 7,030ptโ 7,140pt to attempt higher supported by bargain hunters.
Meanwhile, Friday last week ย (11/11) Wall Street ended with the DJIA closed higher by ย 33 ย points or 0.1% to 33,748pt, while the S&P500 and the Nasdaq closed higher by 0.9% and 1.9%, respectively. ย Last week, the DJIA, S&P500, and Nasdaq Composite gained by 4.2%, 5.9%, and 8.1%, respectively, following a lighter-than-expected October US inflation data.
The 10-year US Treasury yield, Thursday last week, fell by 28 basis points at 3.816% , and the yield on the policy-sensitiveย 2-year Treasuryย declined by 30 basis points to 4.328%. The US bond market was closed Friday to observe Veterans Day.
Friday last week, the price of ย WTI crude rose by 2.9%, to USD88.9 a barrel, mainly on demand prospect along with the news last week that China eased some of the countryโs heavy COVID curbs. Meanwhile, the USDIDR ย closed atย IDR15,493 vs. IDR15,701 ย the previous one.
