The Jakarta Composite Index (JCI) today (12/7) is expected to trade between 6,840ptโ 6,975pt to attempt higher supported by bargain hunters.
Yesterday (12/6), Wall Street ended with the DJIA closed lower by ย 351ย points or 1.0% to 33,596pt, while the S&P500 and the Nasdaq closed lower by 1.4% and 2.0%, respectively.
The 10-year US Treasury yield, yesterday fell by 7 basis points at 3.526%, and the yield on the policy-sensitiveย 2-year Treasury was lower by 3ย basis points at 4.30%.
Yesterday, the price of ย WTI crude fell 3.5% at USD74.3/barrel, ย mainly on demand worries along with news and data of a weakening service-sector activity in China, the worldโs biggest crude importer. The USDIDR ย closed atย IDR15,576 vs. IDR15,409 the previous one.
