Headline Inflation at 0.37% Month-on-Month (MoM)

Indonesia’s headline Consumer Price Index (CPI)  for February this year was released at an MoM rate of  0.37% (January: 0.04%), and a Year-On-Year (YoY) rate of 2.75% (January: 2.57%). The monthly and annual inflation rates for February were slightly higher than the consensus estimate but sit within the target range set by the central bank Bank Indonesia, at 2.5±1% (in Chart 1).
