The Jakarta Composite Index (JCI) today (12/12) is expected to trade between 6,650ptโ 6,780pt to attempt higher and be supported by bargain hunters.ย However, the JCI is expected to be vulnerable to selling pressures.
Friday last week (12/9), Wall Street ended with the DJIA closed lower by ย 305ย points or 0.9% to 33,477pt, while the S&P500 and the Nasdaq both closed lower by 0.7%.
The 10-year US Treasury yield, last week rose by 10 basis points at 3.595%, and the yield on the policy-sensitiveย 2-year Treasury increased by 3 basis points at 4.346%.
Friday last week, the price of ย WTI crude settled 44 cents or 0.6% lower at $71.02 a barrel, a new low for 2022, ย mainly on demand concerns along with new economic data from China, Europe, and the US. ย The USDIDR ย closed atย IDR15,587 vs. IDR15,619 the previous one.
