The Jakarta Composite Index (JCI) today (3/17) is expected to be in the range of 6,275pt โ 6,375pt, ย to be sideways and supported by bargain hunters. Meanwhile, yesterday (3/16), the DJIA closed lower by 128 points or 0.4% to 32,826pt, while the S&P500 and the Nasdaq ended lower by 0.2% and higher by 0.1%, respectively.
At the other end, yesterday ย the WTI price closed lower by ย 0.9% to USD64.8/barrel as compared ย to the previous closeย , mainly on higher-than-expected US oil-inventories. The United States oil inventory level for the week ended March 5 was ย released at an addition of 12.8mn barrels as compared to below 1mn barrels widely-expected. ย ย Meanwhile, the USDIDR ย closedย at IDR14,424 ย vs. IDR14,418 the previous one.
