The Jakarta Composite Index (JCI) today (10/25) is expected to trade between 7,000pt โ 7,120pt to gain an edge with the support of bargain hunters. ย ย
Meanwhile, yesterday ย (10/24) Wall Street ended with the DJIA closed higher by 417 points or 1.3% to 31,500pt, while the S&P500 and the Nasdaq closed higher by 1.2% and 0.9%, respectively. The S&P Global US Composite PMI Output Index in October fell to 47.5 points as compared to the final reading of 49.5 in September.
The 10-year US Treasury yield, meanwhile, rose by 2 basis points at 4.24% yesterday, and the yield on the policy-sensitiveย 2-year Treasuryย dipped by 3 basis points to 4.45%.
Yesterday, the price of ย WTI crude lost 20 cents, 0.24%, at USD84.9 a barrel, mainly supported by strict supply in the sector despite higher-than-expected 3Q22 economic growth in China ย ย Meanwhile, the USDIDR ย closed atย IDR15,590 vs. IDR15,610 the previous one.
