The Jakarta Composite Index (JCI) today (6/14) is expected to be in the range of 6,025pt โ 6,150pt ย also be supported by ย bargain hunters.ย Meanwhile, Friday last week ย (6/11), the DJIA closed higher by ย 13 points or 0.04% to 34,480pt, while the S&P500 and the Nasdaq ย ended higher by 0.2% and 0.4%, respectively. The latest US CPI data release on Thursday (6/12) has been interpreted as seasonal, nevertheless, the US 10-year bonds yield declined to its 3-month low or by 5bp to 1.467% (Indonesia: +9bp). The Federal Reserve is expected to announce decision on monetary stance during June FOMC on Wednesday (6/16).
Indonesia ย financial market, at present is also in caution to see development on deteriorating Positivity Rates of COVID-19 in the capital city Jakarta during the last 8 days with the range of 12.4% to 23.5%. The matters was addressed by the the city Governor Anies Baswedan yesterday.
At the other end, last week ย ย the WTI price ended higher by ย 0.9% ย to USD70.9/barrel , mainly on improved outlook of demand, also as reflected in recent growth of airline traffics. ย ย Meanwhile, the USDIDR ย closed ย at IDR14,206 vs. IDR14,262 the previous one.
