The Jakarta Composite Index (JCI) today (11/23) is expected to trade between 6,990ptโ€“ 7,130pt to gain an edge supported by bargain hunters. ย Asia stock markets are green this morning during opening while the central bank of NZ rose policy rate by a record-high of 75 basis points.

 

Meanwhile, yesterday ย (11/22) Wall Street ended with the DJIA closed higher by ย 298 ย points or 1.2% to 33,700pt, while the S&P500 and the Nasdaq closed higher by 1.4% and 1.4%, respectively.

 

The 10-year US Treasury yield, yesterday fell by 7 basis points at 3.76%, and the yield on the policy-sensitiveย 2-year Treasuryย increased by 1 basis point to 4.529%.

Yesterday, the price of ย WTI crude rose by 1.4%, to USD81.2 a barrel, mainly driven by news that Saudi Arabia commits to the agreed production level while could take further steps to balance the market. ย Meanwhile, the USDIDR ย closed atย  IDR15,716 vs. IDR15,707 ย the previous one.
